Guidance for the assessment of work-based learning in Foundation degrees: A Report to fdf

FDF publication from August 2010 which contains three main sections:

1. Eighteen Principles supportive of good practice in the assessment of Foundation degrees.

2. A relatively brief outline of the background to assessment in Foundation degrees and

3. A commentary which expands on a number of key issues in assessment.

These elaborations are intended to support institutions in the development of their assessment practices - particularly but not exclusively those relating to work-based learning.
