Guidance for developing an online partnership learning community with a disciplinary focus

The present guidance document is the outcome of a collaborative project carried out by students and staff at the Institute of Psychiatry Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College London. This work sought to:

  • Use the HEA Framework for partnership in learning and teaching in higher education as a lens through which to reflect on a specific partnership initiative the Volunteer Electronic Helpdesk on Research Methods and Statistics.
  • Use these reflections to re-develop the initiative so as to move towards a more integrative and sustainable implementation as manifest in an online partnership learning community.
  • Collate the insights and experience gained in the course of these reflections and re-development in a guidance document for developing an online partnership learning community with a disciplinary focus.
