A report published by the UK Centre for Bioscience in 2010 on Improving first-year laboratory classes in bioscience - students' views. This report presents the analysed results from surveys of bioscience students (mostly from the first-year) in three countries. The prime purpose of the surveys was to identify aspects of laboratory classes which students valued and thought to be important so that teachers could pay particular attention to these aspects in the design and running of laboratory classes and thus improve the students' experience and appetite for laboratory work.
