Integrating E-learning and Reflective Practice to Enhance Critical Writing Skills and Access to Theory in the First-year Drama Studio

This was explored through the integration of e-learning strategies with the requirements of reflective practice in a first year practical drama module. Preliminary attention was given to the way in which students undertook their reflective practice and the way they applied their reading and other learning. The ultimate aim was to investigate the usefulness of e-learning for enhancing students' skills
in critical thinking and writing. A secondary aim was to commodate diversity by providing opportunities for extension-type exercise for higher achieving students and the additional support and structure for at-risk students.
