This paper presented at the HEA Annual Conference in 2008 reports on a two-year study exploring the benefits and drawbacks of providing oral feedback for marked assignments via podcasts. It highlights how podcasts can affect key dynamics in the feedback process and that when used strategically by tutors they offer the potential to enhance learning from assessment.
