A synthesis of practice and effects in student engagement

A presentation from the HEA Annual Conference 2011.

This presentation will share the key findings from a Qualitative Research Synthesis undertaken to examine the literature on student engagement. It will identify the range and types of approaches used analyse which are most effective and suggest why some approaches are adopted over others.
