Towards sustainable teaching of bioscience

There are significant pressures on HEIs to integrate sustainability across all their operations and practices. Forward thinking research is needed to identify methods that maximise efficiency whilst enhancing the student learning experience. This project addressed the nature and method of teaching and the implementation of sustainability integrated into the delivery and subject of teaching. Guidelines were developed to facilitate the move towards sustainable practices in other institutions across the UK.
