Trends in Governance: Universities in the Southern, African Development Community

Good governance in universities can provide the appropriate framework for change, ensure its sustainability and encourage a healthy attitude to ongoing change. The study reviews recent global trends in university governance and considers the extent to which, and the way in which those trends are reflected, or not, in a selection of universities in the Southern African region.
