Webinar: The Sustainable Institutions Project: An Evidence Informed Review of Good Practice
Thursday 29 February, 12:30-13:30 GMT
During this webinar, we will share the headline findings from Sustainable Institutions: An evidence informed review of good practice published earlier this year as an output from our Collaborative Development Fund. The project investigated the progress universities around the world are making in becoming sustainable institutions. It provides an evidence-based review of current practice in the form of a systematic literature review and five detailed case studies.
This session is especially relevant for sustainability managers, local champions, people with a leadership role in teaching and research, and those working in civic outreach and engagement. The format is a presentation followed by a Q&A session. Book your free place here

Are you already involved in working with students in a way which enables their whole selves, and supports the development of the student beyond the level of knowledge acquisition, with a focus on nurturing emotional and personal growth? Would you like to work with students in this way but are not sure how to get started and who you might connect with to gain support and ideas? Book your free webinar place here.
Other outputs from this project, including a thought leadership piece, second forum and panel discussion can be found here.

Decoding Pastoral Support
Focus Groups 11 and 14 March, 2024
Decoding Pastoral Support is part of our global member benefit theme Growing the HE Workforce of the Future, looking into an often-overlooked aspect of higher education - namely, the informal structures, requirements and pathways that come with providing support. The approach for this aspect involves a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, aiming to gain a deeper insight into how support is integrated into our systems and the potential advantages it can offer to both the system itself and its members.
Focus groups will run in March 2024 to gain an understanding of lived experiences of support and provision of support in the sector. Each focus group will run twice, bringing together colleagues from the same area in one session - Academics and Professional Services.
Monday 11 March 2024
Academic Group - 13:00 - 14:00 GMT
Professional Services Group - 10:00 - 11:00 GMT
Thursday 14 March 2024
Academic Group - 11:00 - 12:00 GMT
Professional Services Group - 14:00 - 15:00 GMT
