Dom Jackson-Cole

Dom has over two decades of experience as a trainer and facilitator across a variety of sectors. Dom has worked with community leaders, students, academics and executives in the UK, Belgium, Brazil, Japan, Poland, Singapore and The Netherlands. Dom has worked in UK higher education since 2007 as a policy maker, researcher and practitioner, with expertise in the fields of Widening Participation (WP) and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), particularly as it pertains to 'race' equity.

Dom has worked in UK higher education since 2007 as a policy maker, researcher and practitioner, with expertise in the fields of Widening Participation (WP) and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), particularly as it pertains to 'race' equity.

In 2019-20 Dom was a member of the Universities UK advisory board on tackling racial harassment on campus. Dom's PhD concentrated on ‘race’ and racism in postgraduate STEM education in England. Dom’s current research interests include anti-racist pedagogy and decoloniality.

Previously, Dom obtained a master’s degree in education from the University of Cambridge, worked at the Higher Education Funding Council for England (the predecessor of the Office for Students), Kingston University, and SOAS University of London.

Outside of the HE sector, Dom has worked extensively on diversity projects within the film industry, including with the British Film Institute, and with the private sector. Dom is dedicated to providing a transformative learning experience which takes participants on a multi-sensory journey to self-awareness and action.
