Dr Jean Harris-Evans

Dr Jean Harris-Evans is an experienced senior academic. She is currently Vice Principal of Higher Education at The Sheffield College. Prior to joining the College, Jean was a Principal Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University, where she attained FHEA and SFHEA status.

Jean worked in the Sheffield Institute of Education as an academic member of staff, including roles as the Business and Enterprise portfolio lead. In the latter role, Jean developed a partnership with FE Colleges. Jean was also a researcher in the Sheffield Institute of Research and Knowledge Exchange. Jean’s practice background prior to joining HE was in youth and community work.
