Dr Manny Madriaga is Associate Professor in Education at the University of Nottingham. His research interest is aligned with inclusion in higher education, specifically related to disability and race. He is currently an evaluator for the Yorkshire Consortium for Equity in Doctoral Education (www.ycede.ac.uk), to enhance opportunities and support students of colour to pursue doctoral study across five universities: University of Leeds, University of York, University of Sheffield, University of Bradford, and Sheffield Hallam University. Manny is co-convenor of the Student Access and Experience Network for the Society of Research into Higher Education (SRHE). He will be undertaking a Leverhulme Research Fellowship on hope for anti-racist change in higher education next academic year.
