Having studied Nutrition as her undergraduate degree, she has come to learn more about the public health issues such as the misallocation of food and resources around the world, food insecurity in poor regions, food waste problem at the producer and consumer levels and the emerging nutritional problems around the globe, and has become keen on studying the broader social, economic and political factors involved in the health system. Having learnt what healthy diet look like, she is also interested in looking into the environmental and psychosocial factors that influence health behaviours, knowing that preventing poor health is as important as treating illness, and this can be achieved by creating healthier environments.
