Head of Peer Assisted Learning
Responsible for the training and professional development of over 3000 SLAs in the past 12 years, Simbo is passionate about providing productive environments for students to learn and achieve together. She has developed training programs to enhance graduate skills for SLAs and instituted a three-tier progression framework for providing additional support to newly recruited SLAs. Simbo has collaborated with both teaching and professional teams to enrich experience and enhance the practice of SLAs, establishing structures to include observations, coaching and wellbeing support.
