Advance HE fellowship demonstrates a commitment to professionalism and recognises practice, impact and leadership in teaching and learning.

Fellowships are awarded based on evidence of personal professional practice that meets the requirements of the Professional Standards Framework 2023 (PSF 2023), the standards framework for the higher education sector. The category of fellowship you can apply for will depend on which of the four Descriptors of the PSF 2023 is most appropriate to your practice and professional experience.

Ts. Dr. Jaya Kumar Karunagharan is an Assistant Professor in Biology and Psychology at the University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM). He has been teaching in higher education for almost 20 years and is currently the Head of Foundation in Science in UNM. Jaya is also the Director of the Nottingham Recognition Scheme in UNM, which is an Advance HE accredited scheme to obtain Fellowship.

Professor Tang Fu Ee is the Dean of Learning and Teaching at Curtin University Malaysia. He is an Advance HE Senior Fellow, a Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia, and a Curtin Academy Associate Fellow. He oversees Learning and Teaching activities, quality and professional development at Curtin Malaysia, as well as supports students in their learning experience.
