Engaging student representatives in effective student experience surveying

A presentation from the Surveys for Enhancement conference 2013.

Over the last 3 years Bournemouth University and its students’ union have worked in partnership to develop the role of student reps in engaging students. This has involved using surveys generated and owned by the reps in order to deliver evidence based representation into the university system. The results have been excellent and BU is now looking to merge its own student feedback survey with the student rep surveys to create one coherent student feedback mechanism owned by the student. But are there better ways to engage students with surveys? This workshop will explore that question.
