Enhancing the Function of External Examining - Academic Registrar survey findings (Jackson 2003)

This survey was part of a collaborative project involving Universities UK Standing Conference of Principals the Association of Colleges the Quality Assurance Agency and led by the ILTHE and LTSN (now the Academy) on enhancing support for external examiners.

The survey is based on a questionnaire designed to gain feedback from a meeting of Acadamic Registrars held at Kings College University of London December 2003. 22 institutional representatives responded and findings reflect a fair and probably representative picture of what is currently happening in HE what the issues are for institutions and views on potential support at a UK-wide level.
