Leadership Journeys: Tracking the Challenge and Impact of the Top Management Programme: Year Two

A longitudinal study on the effectiveness of the Advance HE Top Management Programme (TMP) is being performed by researchers at Ulster University Business School. The TMP is the flagship development programme of UK Higher Education, with over 800 alumni, including 70 current vice-chancellors. This research project is one of the first studies in the UK to focus on senior leadership development and its effectiveness within universities. This is the second published report from the study. Results in this report focus on the use of an innovative qualitative method, Story Based Evaluation (a qualitative 360 feedback process) to identify themes of leadership in TMP alumni and how these may link to their experiences of the TMP.
