Each of Robert's roles have provided fantastic opportunities to work with students and colleagues from across the institution and the sector, to drive forward learning and teaching initiatives and (hopefully) have a positive impact on the student experience.

Robert is particularly proud that the Maths Support Service at Cardiff University continues to thrive almost 15 years on from its inception. Similarly, being able to lead the Centre for Education Innovation to become the established home for learning and teaching development at the University is an extremely pleasing achievement for him.

He continues to reflect on and learn from these experiences, and hopes that by implementing informed ideas and sharing his thinking (as others have done with him), that he can continue to support students to reach their potential both within higher education and beyond.
